1. What is Lembrih?
Lembrih is an ethical marketplace that connects conscious shoppers with Black-owned, handmade, and purpose-driven brands. We focus on transparency, fair pricing, and community-first growth.
2. Who can become a vendor on Lembrih?
We welcome small business owners, artisans, and ethical brands who align with our mission; whether you sell handmade goods, sustainably sourced items, or products that uplift communities.
3. Is there a cost to join?
During our Founding Vendor phase, joining is completely free — with 0% commissions and no listing fees for the first 30 days. After that, a small platform fee will apply to help support marketing and operations.
4. What are the benefits of joining early?
Early vendors receive:

5. What kind of products can I sell?
We accept products that align with our mission of ethical, sustainable, and/or Black-owned business values — including home goods, fashion, beauty, art, lifestyle items, and more.
6. Do I need to have handmade or sustainable products?
While many of our vendors do, we understand that “ethical” can mean different things. As long as your brand practices transparency, fair sourcing, or community-centered values, you’re welcome here.
7. How do I set up my shop?
Once approved, you’ll receive access to your Vendor Dashboard where you can upload products, manage inventory, track orders, and customize your storefront. Our team will guide you through setup if you need help.
8. How will customers find my products?
We promote Lembrih through social media, email newsletters, partnerships, and SEO-driven campaigns. Vendors are also featured in curated collections, spotlights, and seasonal promotions.
9. How do payments work?
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You’ll receive payouts directly to your bank account on a regular schedule (e.g., every 7–14 days) after orders are fulfilled.
10. Can I sell on other platforms too?
Absolutely! We believe in empowering vendors, not restricting them. You can continue selling on your own website or other platforms while being part of Lembrih.
11. How does Lembrih ensure trust and quality?
We review each vendor’s application to ensure products align with our values of authenticity, fairness, and quality. We also encourage transparent product descriptions and responsive customer service.
12. What support will I get as a vendor?
Our vendor support team is here to help with onboarding, marketing guidance, and technical questions. You’ll also have access to vendor-only newsletters and community updates.
13. Can I leave the platform anytime?
Yes. There’s no long-term commitment. You can pause or close your shop at any time from your vendor dashboard.
14. How does Lembrih promote vendors?
We regularly feature vendors in social campaigns, newsletters, blog posts, and curated collections to highlight the people and stories behind each brand.
15. How do I apply to become a vendor?
You can fill out our quick Vendor Application Form by clicking the “Start Free Trial” button on our “Become a Vendor page”. We’ll review your submission and get back to you within a few days.
16. I’m Not Black or African, can I still join?
Yes. Lembrih welcomes all vendors who align with our values, vision and mission to empower Black and African artisans.
